
Natalie Byrn
Natalie is a devoted wife, mother of three, and proud grandmother of three. Now enjoying retirement, she treasures time spent reading, bird hunting and being outdoors. Raised in a Christian home, her faith has always been a central part of her life. She has faithfully served her church community in many roles over the years, including teaching youth, providing office support, and even driving the church bus.
Now looking forward to being a voice of the board at Summit Christian University, Natalie values family, faith, and the simple joys of life.

Brad Henson
Dr. Brad Henson is a Christ follower, husband, father and pastoral leader. His ministry has been primarily focused on church planting and discipleship. He is the Pastor of Woodlawn Church in Paducah, Kentucky where he has served for the past 3 years. This church is growing steadily as they reach out to the surrounding community.
Dr. Henson has been on the Board of Directors at Summit since its beginning. He has been active in Christian education and mentoring young spiritual leaders for many years. As a former teacher at Mid-Continent, as well as Pastoral trainer for multiple denominations, he is invested in the future of Christian leadership. He loves Summit and can’t wait to see all that God will do with it.

Charles Moore
Rev. Charles R. Moore, Jr. is a graduate of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and has faithfully served congregations across multiple states, including Kentucky, California, Illinois, and North Carolina. He is currently serving at Green Hills Community Church in Franklin, Tennessee, where is continues his ministry and leadership.
Rev. Moore has preached, taught, led short-term mission teams, and encouraged local church leaders across numerous countries in Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America. Through these ministry efforts, he has shared the message of Jesus Christ with thousands of individuals, contributing to both evangelistic outreach and leadership development within diverse cultural contexts.
Rev. Moore is married to his wife, Eileen, and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Board of SCU, contributing seasoned leadership, ministerial insight, and a strong commitment to the university’s mission and values.

MaryAnne Simmons

David Wright
David Wright is a retired businessman with more than 30 years of experience in western Kentucky. He served as Manager of Business Development for the United States Enrichment Corporation (USEC), where he led and managed multi-year, multi-billion-dollar projects. His work included involvement with initatives related to the United States Energy Policy Act of 1992, contributing to major developments in the nation’s energy sector.
Following his retirement, Mr. Wright became the owner, designer, and project manager of multiple solar power plants in the Mayfield and Lexington, Kentucky areas. He has also served for nine years on the Board of Directors for Summit Christian University as the Board Chairman.
